This is from a translation of "niranunaasikaprabandham" (by Melppaththoor) by somebody. I read it in Ulloor's Kerala Sahithya charithram, volume 4, towards the beginning. The translator's name starts with "unnikkr^shNa...", I believe. Can somebody check it in KSC, correct the slokam, and give the author(translator) name also?
This slokam is SooRppaNakha's words to raavaaNan, after her nose had been chopped by lakshmaNan. In the original (Sanskrit), the slokams do not have any "anunaasikam"s (nga, nja, Na, na, ma) because SooRppaNakha cannot tell them without nose. It is hard to translate that to Malayalam without "anunaasikam"s, because Malayalam has too much of it. (Remember "anunaasikaathiprasaram".) However, the translator used them only as few as possible.
This translator has translated all champus (prabandams) by Melppaththoor, it seems. Never got printed though.

15 കൊല്ലത്തിനു ശേഷം ഒരു കമന്റിടാൻ എന്തൊരു സുഖം!
